London, Aug 2: Leonardo DiCaprio has been named the highest-paid actor in Hollywood by Forbes magazine after his movies "Shutter Island" and "Inception" did well at the box-office and he earned $77 million last year.
This is the first time that Forbes has named DiCaprio as the highest paid actor.
The 36-year-old has pushed "Pirates of the Caribbean" star Johnny Depp to second spot. Adam Sandlar is at third place, reports contactmusic.com.
Will Smith and Tom Hanks are at fourth and fifth places respectively.
Dicaprio earned almost twice as much as Angelina Jolie and Sarah Jessica Parker, who tied for first place in the Forbes list of Hollywood top earning female stars.
